The Van Courtlandt Auxiliary has stood at the heart of one of San Antonio’s most beloved traditions for more than forty years. We are the dedicated corps of volunteers, parents, sponsors, and community leaders whose work makes the Van Courtlandt Debutante Ball possible each year.
We are an organization built on three pillars: Gown — the elegance and grace of the occasion; Grace — the character and poise of our debutantes; and Legacy — the enduring impact of a tradition that uplifts the entire community.

Qualifications
– Be a high school graduate
– Be between the ages of 18 and 24
– Be enrolled in a college or university
– Not be engaged, married, or a mother
step 03
Once Selected, the VCC Debutante must:
– Attend orientation
– Secure an escort
– Attend dance rehearsals
– Host a reception party
– Procure a ball gown that meets the VCC requirements
